Can swearing be a hobby?

Or is it more of a bad habit?

Either way I have taken up swearing quite regularly lately - even more so then ever before. F-sharps, S-bombs, and every combination in between have become part of my everyday vocabulary. It is such a release for me.

Try it - just scream out (ensuring any children around are wearing 'earmuffs')...

"F#$K - F#$K - F#$K "
or
"F#$K this S%&T"
or
"Bloody F#$King HELL, will this S%&T ever end"

Doesn't that feel sooooo good...? Almost like you have accomplished something. Don't feel silly or bad - if you are on this adoption roller-coaster you have already been officially diagnosed as CRAZY, INSANE or LOONIE (you decide, whichever best describes your current state).

Don't fight it, it happens even to the best of us.

Sad that my first comment to this blog that I read regularly would be on one about swearing :)...

Gotta say that it could very easily become a hobby, but I have to be careful on that one. Made me laugh this morning anyway.

Sometimes it's just the only thing to do and makes you feel a hell of a lot better for some crazy reason

You've already cracked me up more than once by starting off an email with an F-Bomb.

Yeah, my vocabulary is quite rich inside my head at times. If I didn't have a child around, this might be externalized more easily!

Thx for the laugh.

I am so there too...except I have to be careful since little ears are listening...I ran a stop sign the other day( wasn't dangerous, since we live in the country, but still) I release a loud S#*T, and the realized my 6 year old was in the back....Luckily she had her headphones on watching the dvd.....
phwefff...

and Im not usually a swearer.....but this adoption ride does bring out the worst.....

I'm partial to the classic Hugh Grant phrases from 4 Weddings and a Funeral...

"F#$kity f*$k f*$k" and "F*$kadoodle do."

I spent almost 2 years enjoying that very same hobby! Now I enjoy knitting, but you never know when I may go back to the old hobby... probably when my girls are teens :)
